Mass &
The Whole Of The Eucahrist
People and Ministries
The church community can be large or small but no matter the size, we are all there for the same reason. To celebrate all that Jesus and God have done for us.
Bishop:
The bishop is a priest that is made to look after the priests needs and to conduct a holy church. Priests and bishops are boys only because nuns are girls.
Liturgical Musician:
The liturgical musician is the person that plays the hymns on the organ during mass. The liturgical musician is the one that brings the people at mass together through music, like the priest is to the word and Eucharist.
Sacristans:
The sacristans’ job is to prepare the church before mass. They prepare the Eucharist and make sure the altar is prepared properly.
Collectors:
The collector’s job is to collect the money to donate to the poor during mass.
Assembly:
The assembled people in the church are encouraged to participate in hymns, responses and the Eucharist.
Priest:
We have a priest to conduct the goings on in mass and to care for the people in the holy community.
Altar Servers:
Altar servers assist the priest in his jobs in mass. They bring forth candles, the gospel book and help prepare the Eucharist.
Readers/Lectors:
The readers/lectors read the word of Christ to the people gathered in church that day. They proclaim the faith of God.
Usher and greeter:
The ushers and greeters greet the people when coming into church.
Gift bearers:
The gift bearers bring forth the gifts of bread and wine. Most of the time these people are children.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion:
These people distribute the bread and wine to all those that are eligible to receive the Eucharist.
